Basement Tracks was founded by Brian White in Dayton, Ohio circa 1999, through Dayton Access Television Ch. 20, before moving to Appalachian Media Access Center in Athens, Ohio Ch. 23 in 2001. The show is produced to expose and support local, national, and independent bands, along with showcasing local skateboarders and the like. Public Access is a great medium for exposure. Besides airing in Athens, the show will also be aired in Dayton and in Charleston, North Carolina.
